Diesel Powertrains 3.0

Diesel Powertrains on the fast move to a low carbon future

For rapid and robust achievement of the ambitious mid-term climate protection targets all over the world, but especially in the EU, advanced and innovative internal combustion engine designs with increased fuel efficiency and lowest real-world CO2 emissions are necessary in the next decade. Accompanied by alternative propulsion systems like electric vehicles or fuel cell powered systems a diverse powertrain mix points towards a CO2-neutral future.

Diesel Engines, since decades the synonym for highly efficient propulsion systems for multiple applications, can strongly support climate protection while simultaneously ensuring excellent local air quality with near-zero impact emissions.

The seventh edition of FEV’s international expert conference “Diesel Powertrains 3.0” will highlight these and further aspects in various dedicated technical sessions. This year, due to the given boundaries, the renowned technical event will be conducted as an online conference on June 29 and 30, 2021.

This engineering expert meeting provides therefore in-depth insights into new and upcoming technological innovations for the next generation of sustainable Diesel-engine propulsion systems for all kinds of applications, based on multiple kinds of energy carriers, from classical Diesel fuel specifications over drop-in compositions – both with electric assistance – finally to fully CO2-neutral fuel types like E-Fuels and Hydrogen.
