Digitalization is a key factor for change in the public as well as in the industrial sector. In this respect, the technology of large bore engines will face continuous evolution, too. New possibilities in digitalization will support future developments of combustion engines in combination with electrical systems. In this session of the FEV large bore online seminar series we will show paths into the future of these technologies. We will give insights into a modern development process and how the above described upcoming technologies are integrated. This process also benefits from the combination of FEV’s single cylinder engines (SCE) and advanced modelling techniques speeding up the development.
