June 8: High Speed Engines

Time: 14:30-16:30 Paris (CEST) | 8:30-10:30 New York City (EDT) | 18:00-20:00 Mumbai

In the field of high-speed engines, FEV develops pioneering powertrain concepts. Formerly, the focus was mainly on high power-density, reduction in specific fuel consumption and outstanding transient behaviour. Nowadays, defossilization efforts must be clearly taken into account as well. Therefore, modern engine platforms need an accurate preparation to be ready for future markets. In this context the adaptability to a larger variety of possible liquid and gaseous fuels plays a major role. These kinds of fuels will be used in the engines according to the Diesel or the Gasoline process; but also in mixed forms. Only flexible and sustainable engine concepts will be able to extend their product lifecycle far into the future. Follow the FEV large bore online seminar series and we will provide first answers to challenging questions, accompanied by an open discussion.
