March 23: Hydrogen mobility: Strategies, infrastructure and powertrain concepts
Time: 1-3pm Paris (CEST) | 7-9am New York City (EDT) | 7-9pm Beijing (CST)
Driven by the European Green Deal and several national hydrogen strategies around the globe, hydrogen has become an integral part of reducing carbon. However, there still are many questions surrounding the use of hydrogen. During this session, we will address the most relevant ones, including how hydrogen can be used for carbon reduction in different markets and what transportation risk factors should be considered. In addition, this session will look at:
- The implications on the hydrogen infrastructure and the use of hydrogen for transport applications.
- The business case for logistic and mining companies to establish on-site hydrogen production infrastructure.
- The cost and benefits of fuel cell and hydrogen internal combustion engine powertrains, compared to other zero-emission solutions, in different applications, including passenger and commercial vehicles.
